The team of SALT DESIGN STUDIO of Philadelphia, Artist Shaun Dargan Cassidy of Winthrop University and groundworks studio placed second in the Davidson Book Garden Competition. This project is the second public art commission for the Town of Davidson.

St. Martin's Episcopal Church has hired groundworks studio to lead the design team for improvements to the courtyard and gardens along 7th street. groundworks studio and its consultants will develop design development documents from the conceptual plan previously created by groundworks studio. DMR Architecture's design team including groundworks studio was awarded the commission for the Light Vehicle Maintenance Facility by the City of Charlotte.

groundworks studio was hired by the ASC to perform bidding and construction administration services for the Tuckaseegee 12 Art Garden at Freedom Center. The firm had previously completed construction documents for the project. Installation is planned for spring 2009.
